(Marine Engineering Sector)

Our Client is an exciting new start-up organisation based in the Leinster/North East side of the Country. They have designed a new and exciting technology that will be used as a highly efficient Turnkey Data collection product deployed within the Ocean and operating 24/7, enabling Data collecting and accelerating project delivery at a 3rd of the cost of conventional methods.

The Company is experiencing rapid growth servicing clients in Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind and Government Agency sectors. Our platform operates 24/7, accelerating project delivery at a significantly lower cost. This growth has created the need for Project Managers with responsibility for the delivery of projects.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

· Project Planning: Ensure both people and equipment resources are available to deliver their projects.

· Client Management: Regular reporting on project status to client and management of client relationships.

· Consents & Permissions: Secure required consents and approvals from both local and national authorities.

· Track and manage project budget to ensure margins are achieved.

· Manage and maintain Quality, Environment and Health and Safety standards including update, implementation, and management of all ISO processes as appropriate to the role.

· Implement, maintain, manage and update all standard operating procedures and processes appropriate to the role.

On occasion this role may involve:

· Support sales activity including input into proposals, quotations and client meetings.

Requirements Essential Skills / Attributes

Our ideal candidate will have a proven record of delivering projects with strong client relationship and people skills, someone with experience in working in a team and working in an open collaborative way. You will need natural presence and gravitas, excellent communication skills and be innovative in your approach.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

· Excellent attention to detail, planning and adherence to deadlines.

· Proven ability to track and report on Project Finance

· Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

· Enthusiastic, positive and proactive nature with keen attention to detail.

Desirable Experience

· Project management experience in the marine sector

· Relevant marine qualifications such as Yachtmaster, Coastal Skipper, ICC (or equivalent).
