We have just started working with a technology company in Cambridge that has spent the last 10 years developing a product that enables one of the largest industries in the world to operate more efficiently, and with less risk. Their product is structured to scale with little to no-friction over the coming years, and exponential growth is expected to continue for the foreseeable future.
After receiving funding in the ÂŁ10ms about 3 years ago, they have built a talented team of 40 averaging a new hire every week. They are currently going through a highly anticipated series B, and are planning to double in size, to 80 people, by the end of 2020.
Despite this constant inflow of new people, they have managed to build and maintain a collaborative environment that focusses on putting people first and emphasising creativity. As they are a new company in a very established industry, they are keen to attract local talent with both a strong technical background, and ability to think outside the box.
Experience working in fast-growing scale-up companies would be advantageous, and an ability to understand technical products and translate them into a coherent end-to-end global marketing strategy.
You will be providing end-to-end support for the introduction of new products, working alongside the product management team to continually improve product position whilst communication with the customers. This will require conducting continuous competitive analysis and research, ensuring you understand both existing and potential customerâs needs.
Strong experience in a similar role with, continuous competitive analysis would be ideal. Experience working with complex products (hardware and software).
A STEM degree, and a handson technical background would also be advantageous.
