A position has just come available for a Maintenance Manager to be working for an established and reputable business in Sheffield.

The successful Maintenance Manager would report directly into the Engineering Manager and would be responsible for managing a small team of 4 engineers and assisting them when needed.

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday 7:15am – 4pm
Friday – 7:15am – 12:15pm

Salary: ÂŁ35,000-ÂŁ43,000 (depending on experience)

Maintenance Manager Duties and Responsibilities Include:

* Ensuring the smooth running of all machinery and facilities
* Own and develop the PPM system (Pirana) and ensure checks and repairs are carried out on time and effectively
* Day to day co-ordination with the engineers and external contractors
* Ensuring KPI’s are met within the team
* Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

* Ideally Level 4 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
* NEBOSH qualification or equivalent
* Supervisory or management experience of small or large teams
* Experience of owning and developing a PPM system
