We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Head of Lending Business Management.
The Head of Lending Business Management is responsible for leading the central management structure across all lending programs and strategic initiatives. This position will provide oversight and accountability for a broad range of topics (Finance, Resourcing, Governance, Reporting, Communications, Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management) across Lending and related strategic change programmes.
In this role, you will:
  • Defining and developing a framework for financial management across Lending programmes and ensuring execution of it including the management and development of business cases and Annual Operating Plans.
  • Understanding the talent needs and people challenges within lending programmes and lead the development and execution of a people plan that is aligned to wider HSBC objectives.
  • Providing meaningful insight to Programme Leadership covering the breadth of the Programme to drive effective decision making. Ensure transparency of Programme health from a delivery perspective.
  • Leading the creation of a global communication and engagement plan that supports the realisation of the Lending programmes vision in line with the banks wider aims.
  • Ensuring industry leading programme management practices are leveraged and embedded.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • Excellent financial management ability.
  • Broad experience across all areas of responsibility especially financial management, communications and governance are important.
  • Delivery-focused with attention to detail and ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required levels of quality.
  • Willingness to own work and problems and see through to completion and to use own initiative to resolve issues, whilst dealing with a diverse range of people.
  • S elf-motivation, and a proven rapid learning capability in a changing environment are essential.
