This role is integral to TUI Group’s transformation, creating common digital platforms across our organisation that help us deliver a more personalised customer experience and significantly improved business performance.

You will be the Head of Product for the Group Marketing Platform.

You will lead a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts to define our product vision, requirements, product roadmap and prioritised backlog. Outcome is one common platform across all parts of TUI Group.

You will engage with our business teams to define prioritised needs and work with our Technology teams to deliver a prioritised roadmap. You will transition the focus from traditional to digital marketing to deliver a truly omnichannel marketing capability.

You will direct product development, translating ideas into strategy and features, and work with technology to follow product development from start to finish.

How you will make an impact

There are many ways for you to get involved:
Define the Product Vision for the Marketing Platform, aligned to business strategy and needs.

Define business requirements (EPICS & Use Cases) and priorities for the Marketing Platform, in terms of capabilities, features and campaigns.

Manage the overall roadmap and backlog to deliver the committed platform business benefits (£20m+ margin benefits per year). Ensure strong backlog health that supports forecasted velocity.

Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.

Leverage customer and market insights to shape requirements, features and end products.

Lead the collaboration with senior stakeholders (Centres of Excellence, markets, functions, brands) to ensure features are aligned to business needs. You will drive the product features and priorities, using data points to influence and make decisions.

Manage and develop a strong relationship with the relevant Platform Suppliers. Leverage maximum value from the capabilities and understand and help shape their Product roadmap.

Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement new capabilities and features and ensure User Acceptance Testing is conducted prior to go live. Lead the scrum of scrums.

Define dependencies from other platforms and functions (e.g. Digital Platform Data Services) and ensure these are understood and prioritised appropriately, linked to benefits.

You will be required to travel, usually 1 day per week, in order to manage cross-market projects and influence key market stakeholders (functional directors and department heads).

Lead, manage, coach and develop a team of 4-5 (Product Owners and Business Analysts) ensuring they have clear direction and priorities.

Comfortable working in a large pan European business, where some travel will be required

Proven and successful track record of product ownership, and of product lifecycle management. Experience of working in an agile framework.

Strong leadership skills with ability to lead large cross-functional teams

Significant experience of working on enterprise scale real-time marketing platforms

Experience of working in a multi-brand or multi-country environment

Good technical understanding of marketing platforms, comfortable working closely with senior technical teams to help define solutions to business needs

Fluent in English, ability in other languages desirable but not essential (German, French & Dutch)

Strategic thinker with ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise way

Highly commercial, with ability to define, identify and prioritise high value initiatives.

Proactive and self-driven, you’ll be confident working independently, but have strong team ethics

Powerful communicator with excellent presentation skills and ability to clearly articulate ideas

Capability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty and to aggregate complex items

Highly organised with a flexible approach and openness to work in fast evolving structures.

Highly analytical with ability to analyse complex data sets, and draw action orientated conclusions

Ability to adapt between markets and excellent networker displaying strong relationship management to co-ordinate through a complex matrix
