Associate Director of Finance – Strategic
Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust operates across two hospital sites providing a full range of District General Hospital Services to a population of 320,000. The Trust has a turnover of approximately £260m and an excellent track record of providing quality patient care services, with a CQC rating of GOOD.
With a challenging and exciting financial and transformational agenda ahead of us the Trust is looking for a dynamic and ambitious Associate Director of Finance to join our team.
As a key member of the team reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance and Commercial Development, the post holder is expected to function at a senior level within the Trust’s senior leadership team, proactively leading and providing solutions to the sustainability challenge, in accordance with agreed Trust objectives, targets, quality standards and resource constraints. The post holder will have extensive managerial experience in leading and developing high performing teams, and will possess leadership skills to deal competently with complex issues in ensuring that strategy and policy is implemented and performance managed within the Trust and across the wider strategic footprint.
The post holder will be required to work externally with stakeholders across the Cheshire and Merseyside STP. Within the Trust the post holder will work closely with the Associate Director of Operations and the CBU Leads. The post holder will support the identification, development and implementation of the financial strategy and commercial strategy, supporting commercial development and the tender process ensuring that suitable opportunities are pursued and realised.
The post holder is accountable and responsible for the delivery of Financial Planning, Commercial Development, Contracts and Performance Services, ensuring that services are delivered to a high standard in line with local and national policy.
