The MAP (Mis a Point) team is the engineering support team for Single-Aisle Final Assembly Lines (FALs), answering all engineering related questions that arise before aircraft delivery. The department ist responsible for developing, planning and executing MAP improvement strategies and projects.

Project Management

  • Management of Process, Methods and Tools focused projects
  • Support to larger PMT projects for MAP
  • Creation of regular project reports, plus leading and managing regular review meetings
  • Organising project related documentation and communication
  • Defining and monitoring project success indicators
  • Managing the risks and opportunities of projects
  • Responsible for practical project management implementation in MAP projects

Prepare MAP for the challenge of new developments

  • Help to prepare the MAP’s for the future Projects like DDMS, ACF and XLR
  • Create learning material to inform MAP for technical changes
  • Plan and support Roll out of new developments in the MAP community

Your profile:

Completed degree in:

  • Engineering – at least bachelor degree or
  • Mechanical Engineering – at least bachelor degree

Work Experience:

  • Manufacturing Engineering – at least over 3 years
  • Project Management – at least over 3 years


  • MS-Office – at least detailed knowledge
  • PDM Engineering – any knowledge desirable

  • German – at least fluent
  • English – at least fluent
