WEMBLEY PARK THEATRE – HEAD CHEF
We’re seeking a calm, creative and inspired head chef to join London’s most exciting new
restaurant and theatre venue. You must have great taste, and be passionate about creating
and delivering exciting dishes for our theatre-going guests.
Troubadour Theatres is a young and vibrant theatre company who have recently renovated the old fountain studios in Wembley Park, building a 120 seater restaurant to compliment the 2000 seater theatre.
The restaurant will serve simple ingredients-led dishes which can be served quickly but still look and taste fantastic.
We are renowned for our innovative approach to the theatre experience, and this ethos will
be evident in our new restaurant and bar operations.
As Head Chef, you must be highly organised and demonstrate exceptional culinary skill. You
will be in charge of the overall kitchen operation, including prep schedules, stock control,
food quality and hygiene standards.
You will also manage kitchen staff and rotas, and oversee the professional development of
the kitchen brigade.

We need a head chef with…
– Previous experience in preparing and serving fresh, high quality food in a fast-paced
– A creative approach to menus, ensuring that excellent dishes are served quickly.
– A thorough understanding of margins, costing and stock control.
– An ability to manage multiple demands on the kitchen, from pre-theatre snacks, to
small events, main dinner service and post-theatre dining.
– The ability to manage staff costs, and create effective rotas.
– An understanding of food hygiene and health and safety compliance.

Salary: £38,000.00 to £41,000.00 /year
