Vice President Information Technology

The Vice President Information Technology will be overall responsible for strategy, planning, organization and execution of IT functions that support business operations and meet both Company goals and customer requirements. You will lead the selection, implementation and management of information technology and continuously stay up-to-date on trends and applicability of software, hardware and cloud solutions. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of infrastructure, including network communication and security. The position reports to CEO of Magseis Fairfield ASA.

We like to get in touch with ambitious candidates with established experience managing global multifunctional projects and teams. Previous experience with global implementation and support of leading ERP software packages is a preference. You should be familiar with Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse systems and data modeling. We also appreciate knowledge of processes for governance, measurement and KPI’s. A successful candidate will have great communication skills, be fluent in English both verbally and in writing and have the ability to communicate technical and non-technical information at all levels. We would expect you to have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or equivalent. Experience from Oil and Gas or seismic industry is preferred but not required.
