We have a fantastic opportunity for an intern to join our President’s Office based at our EMEA Regional Head Office on a 12 month placement. This placement is ideally suited to an undergraduate who is looking to gain practical administrative experience within the hospitality sector.
During this internship you will directly support the Area President for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), working very closely with his PA to coordinate a range of activities, projects and presentations. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of our Executive Team.

A bit about the job
Day to day, you will support the PA to our Area President with a range of administrative tasks including diary management, correspondence, travel arrangements, processing reports & expenses and maintenance of filing systems & key contact lists.
You will act as an initial point of contact for any queries or complaints that come through the President’s Office and will be involved in the planning and organizing of all major company conferences, functions and dinners.
You will also assist with the preparation of complex and detailed presentations and will meet and greet any guests of the President’s Office as required.
What are we looking for?
As with any job, we do have certain criteria that you will need to meet in order to be considered for this amazing opportunity. These are detailed as follows;
- Must be in your second or final year of undergraduate study at the point of application
- Must be able to start in June 2020 and available for the full 12 months.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK. If you are a non-EU national then you will need to be studying at a UK university in order to be eligible to undertake a placement here.
- A hospitality or business related degree is preferred however we will consider applicants from other disciplines provided they can demonstrate an interest to progress a career within this field.
- The ideal candidate will be exceptionally well organized and will have the gravitas & interpersonal skills to hold their own in front of some very senior level stakeholders.
- You will need to act with absolute discretion at all times and will be able manage multiple projects and deadlines at any one time.
