Chief Technology Officer / Innovation Lead

As we continue to build and strengthen our capability, the opportunity for a Chief Technology Officer/ Innovation Lead has arisen to join our market-leading Data Management and Analytics Consultancy. We are looking for a dynamic and innovate individual, with proven experience and strong technical skills to join our team in either Edinburgh or London to help drive our innovation agenda.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in multiple areas – Data Management, Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Migration, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Project Delivery across advisory and technical delivery projects.
  • Deliver innovation proof of concepts and working prototypes, collaborating with internal onshore/ offshore teams and third-party suppliers across our technology portfolio
  • Successfully manage offshore and spread out teams with continuous improvement and support
  • Contribute and support the building of the technical team, leading them to deliver innovative products and solutions
  • Building and managing a software engineering team, with a background in business intelligence and data
  • Experience in either large corporate organisations, consultancy or start-up/ small development teams, ideally within the financial services, tech, retail etc
  • Analytical skills, commercial knowledge and innovative mindset with the tenacity to deliver business development within a growing consultancy
  • Deliver innovation proof of concepts and working prototypes, collaborating with internal onshore/ offshore teams and third-party suppliers across our technology portfolio
  • Identify, scope and encourage emerging technology based strategic innovation opportunities
  • Flexibility to travel to and work on client sites within the UK and occasionally Europe.
