What we’re looking for

You will work alongside our Product, Design and Engineering teams, to help us design and implement a digital transformation for a large Financial Services client. We are looking for a CTO/Architect who can assist in digitising key customer and employee touch points, both internal and external. The project will look to update the business across key areas, particularly supporting its internal operations and connecting the company more closely with its customers. Working closely with a Service Designer and Product Strategist, the CTO/Architect will create a solution architecture to support the ‘new’ company after the digital transformation.

The contract is for 3 months initially, with a view to extending from there, and there will also be some EU travel required.

We are looking for someone that has:

  • Experience as a CTO / Architect
  • Experience with modern web stacks
  • Experience in designing complex and secure infrastructure solutions
  • Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Agile experience
  • Financial Services experience would be a plus

You also need to:

  • Be able to navigate complex organisations
  • Meet with potential vendors and perform due diligence
  • Explain technical decisions and concepts to non techies
  • Have excellent writing and verbal skills
  • Being able to document and playback your decisions
  • Quickly internalise complex architecture
  • Be passionate and opinionated about technology and best practices
