Co-worker Relations Manager

ABOUT THE POSITION

Due to maternity leave of our Co-worker Relations Manager, we are looking for Co-worker Relations Manager with a limited assignment of one year.

In this position we are looking for a strong contributor to the CoE Co-worker Experience who secures HR subject matter expertise in leading co-worker relations and upholding our global and local co-worker relations principles as well as securing the conditions for an engaging and healthy working environment where co-workers develop and perform. You will lead the Co-worker Relations Specialist. This is a limited assignment of one year with a workload of 80% – 100% and you will report to the Co-worker Experience Manager.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT

Ensure the relevant global people policies and standards are fully supported by the management team, implemented across the country and lived up to (e.g. Code of Conduct, IES).

Establish and foster an ongoing open dialogue with co-workers and labour unions.

Lead the development and own the content of country HR policies and procedures in line with employment law compliance and follow up.

Contribute expertise to leadership development in relation to co-worker relations, behaviours and trust throughout the organisation.

Lead the I Share process on country level.

Lead and develop the problem resolution process on country level, securing consistent execution and follow-up, and secure analysis of root causes.

Protect IKEA as an employer from potential threats by implementing and following a common way of managing labour issues on country level.

Identify, evaluate and monitor actual and potential labour issues evolving internally or externally that could create significant risks for IKEA.

Lead and follow up on IKEA’s employment standards and compliance in all units

Train and counsel P&C peers and line managers.

YOUR PROFILE

Knowledge of legislation regarding resolving disputes between IKEA and other corporate and civil parties.

Knowledge about the rights and obligations of co-workers and how to mediate the relationship between co-workers, employing entities and authorities.

Knowledge of how to create, implement and follow up on rules and practices that ensure accountability, compliance, fairness and transparency within IKEA.

Knowledge of the IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, to ensure right representation.

Passionate about people, their rights and wellbeing.

Engagement and commitment to develop the business and deliver business results by optimising performance through people.

Ambassador for the IKEA culture and values. Enjoy working in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment.

Ability to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility but also a strong team-player.

Expresses ideas and opinions effectively in verbal and written communication.

Strong leadership skills and experience in leading through people
