Our client is a leading domestic Retrofit Contractor on a mission to reduce Ireland’s carbon emissions at scale and currently have a requirement for a motivated &dynamic Project Manager to join their growing Solar PV team based in Cork.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for implementing the delivery of solar PV & battery installations ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality.

We are looking for a self starter that wants to fast track their career in a fast moving and forward thinking company. You will need a make it happen attitude and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure projects are delivered to the highest possible standard.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Lead solar projects from contract award through to handover
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures, legislation and quality expectations
  • Coordinate installation teams ensuring works are completed within the program schedule and budget
  • Act as a point of contact for onsite installation teams
  • Day to day project delivery tasks
  • Continuous process improvement
  • Site surveys, inspections & audits as required
  • Travel to and from sites as required
  • Deal with clients as required
  • Assist with project designs as required
  • Ensure appropriate availability and allocation of resources

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Energy or similar
  • A passion for renewable energy & its possibilities
  • 1 – 2 years experience with solar PV & battery storage
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Personable and confident
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • IT literate in word & excel
  • Ability to deal with customers

Preferable Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Irish Building Regulations Part L
  • Knowledge of the SEAI requirements
