We are looking for a Sales Manager to strengthen the team based in Gothenburg. As a member of our sales team, you will maintain, care for, and develop the co-operation with a number of our customers as well as take an active share in building and developing new customer relations. You will sell projects within our core technology of flue gas cleaning, dioxin removal, and flue gas condensation. Our project sizes are typically between 10 to 100 MSEK with an international customer base.

Your working day will consist of a variety of tasks within sales, marketing and project management. The main responsibility is to lead the work in the tender projects and pursue sales leads. You will work closely with our process and project departments to guide our clients and suggest the optimal technical and economic process solutions. You will also collect market information and tendencies for our process department, so that we can continue to develop our products and solutions.

You will:

  • Support building the sales strategy
  • Perform relational sales and make technical and commercial agreements – run projects from inquiry to quotation
  • Display resourcefulness in relation to customers, technology and products
  • Take responsibility for compliance with contract, time schedule, quality, and financial requirements
  • Participate in fairs, conferences and courses in the field
  • Cooperate with our parent company, our foreign local representatives and our sister companies in the group.
It is important that you master all sales and project phases and are able to coordinate your work with the project team. Qualifications and skills

  • You have demonstrated results as a technical salesperson or alternatively as a technical project manager in a similar or comparative industry
  • You have experience with an international customer base and partnership sales
  • You hold a degree in engineering e.g. mechanical or chemical
  • You should be prepared that some clients and projects will require travel activity – up to 70 days a year primarily in Europe
  • You master English in writing and speech and it is an advantage if you also speak Swedish and/or German.

As to your personal qualities, it is important that you have a structured approach to all project phases and an eye for additional sales and improvement opportunities – always focusing on the customer. In addition, you thrive on customer relations, and you have winning manners and a can-do spirit. You ensure that we reach our goals – always respecting our agreements with the customers and their needs. You are technically well-founded and excel in tradesmanship, and you are strong in communication and knowledge sharing.

Our office is located on Norra Älvstranden in Gothenburg next to Lindholmen Science Park. By car or bus (Regnbågsgatan bus stop), we are just five or ten minutes from Gothenburg central station, and about 25 minutes by car from Landvetter Airport.
