Job purpose & objectives

Develop adequate staffing and people development plans and execute related actions/tasks
in order to support actual and future business needs.

Tasks and responsibilities

Talent Development and Learning plans
Other projects
  • plan and coach managers on Performance review process (process and tool)
  • identify development needs and establish development plans together with the manager
  • develop, propose and communicate on yearly training plan
  • co-create development actions with suppliers
  • liaise with Area L&D to coordinate training efforts
  • supervise reporting on all L&D activities to Area and track training records
  • participate to the follow up of onboarding and to the exit process
Other projects

Manage processes and develop related action plans in :
  • Building of the AbbVie culture, act as a change agent
  • Great Place to Work (GPTW) and Top Employer certification: preparation of the surveys, the dossiers and the action plans
  • Abbvie Culture team active participation
  • AbbVie employee survey
  • 360° feedback and Hogan methodology
  • Co-work on projects with Customer Excellence Department and Communication Department
Talent Acquisition

Able to manage the internal TA process on an ad interim on back up basis
  • Intake discussions vendor briefing, conducting interviews, debriefing candidates
  • Prepare/review job offer and extend job offer to the candidate where appropriate
  • Use of the company tools (Workday, Taleo, LinkedIn, etc)
Manage the new employee onboarding and orientation process on ad interim on backup basis
  • work with hiring manager on onboarding program
  • create and maintain new employee orientation program (welcome day)
  • coordinate with hiring manager post induction evaluation

    Required skills, competencies and education

    Master’s Degree in Human Resources and/or Business

    Job related functional/technical skills & knowledge:

  • Solid HR experience in both TA & L&D field (developing strategies and implementing actions)
  • Solid experience in a matrix organization
  • Able to operate as ‘change agent’, challenge the organization
  • Trilingual: FR – NL – ENGL
  • Behavioral/Leadership skills
