Who are we?

Lokalist is an early stage startup that has recently launched in Copenhagen. While beginning with smartphones, we plan to use innovations in machine learning and data science to help people determine the market price for used goods locally. If you apply we have a quite fast-paced hiring process and most decisions take only a week from application to final decision.


What do we need?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about design and excited at the opportunity to help a startup go from 0 to 1 Million. Tools such as Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop are a natural part of your workflow, and you enjoy working together with a diverse and passionate team. Working in a startup environment can be stressful and to be honest a lot of hard work for little to no compensation. The upside is that you will be on the ground level of something that has the potential to be huge. We are looking for people who believe in what we are trying to do and want to be able to see their impact on the vision and growth of the project developing themselves together with the company.

  • You must be an independent worker that is able to deliver content that follows the brand identity.
  • You should have an interest in developing content for social media channels.
  • You have experience growing SoMe followers organically.
  • You wish that you had the opportunity to implement your own strategies for growth and marketing.
  • Bonus if have any previous startup or professional design experience.
  • Minimum ability to dedicate 10 hours a week to the project.

Our interview is about team fit

In a startup even more important than your skillsets is the team fit. That being said the interview is an informal introduction to our team and the project. We grab a coffee or a beer (your choice), then we talk a bit about the idea and listen to your thoughts about it. We will ask you if you have any previous work to show off, and then discuss a bit about what we can do for you. Finally, we will promise to give you a decision within 48 hours.
