We are looking for a new colleague for our Quality Assurance team in charge of defining and implementing methods, tools and structure to support the Quality Assurance Process. Our new colleague in this position will be based in either Skjern or Østbirk.
You will be part of a dedicated daylight team of 3 colleagues plus an extended team of 3 colleagues based in the manufacturing area. We collaborate cross-functionally from product development to mass production as well as in the product modification/optimisation process. The department works in the product area of mechatronics, mechanics and electronics used for VELUX blinds, shutters and automatics for windows.
As Project Manager Quality Assurance you will be responsible for tools and methods, you will be an important and integrated part of the project team and your overall focus will be to ensure transparency in the projects from specifications to validation and the continuous risk assessment.
You will be one of the driving forces in building up an Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)/design for 6-sigma environment, facilitating tools and methods while maintaining an overview of the processes and their progress. This will be an important aspect, as the organisation and its processes mature in the overall Quality domain.
Your primary tasks will entail to:
- Be an active partner in projects with Quality Assurance focusing on the project process from performance specification to validation
- Be an active partner who drives and facilitates quality planning, embedding quality activities, identification and handling of Critical to Quality in projects and tasks
- Facilitate and drive methods and processes e.g. FMEA on system and design and keeping the quality thinking and method integrity
- Develop and improve our processes and methods regarding quality assurance in Product Development and preparing for mass production
- Being a strong change agent in the implementation and facilitation of processes
We expect you to have an Engineering degree or other relevant technical background maybe from a similar position. It is essential that you have experience with quality assurance in product development and preparing for mass production – as well as an advantage if you have experience within the field of APQP or design for 6-sigma.
Experience with change management as well as implementation and facilitation of processes will be a strong advantage.
“Working in a matrix organisation requires the ability to balance different priorities and gaining clear commitments and keeping a holistic approach to cross-functional collaboration as well as good stakeholder management” says Peter Bisgaard, Director, Global Quality Assurance, whom you will be reporting to.
On a personal level, you are a self-starter, who thrive on driving and completing projects. You are socially intelligent with the ability to build lasting relations and you know when to listen and to consult others. You can coach and lead the way by being the good example.
We look forward to receiving your application and CV as soon as possible.
