About the role
Our marketing function’s main objective is to drive the strategic work within the Hospital segment. We operate in a complex business environment, with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and see great opportunities to transition our business from product to customer wide solution selling.
You will be responsible to lead and direct the marketing team in the Nordics, a decentralized cross-country team of six specialists within product management and clinical applications as well as several external consultants within the Hospital segment.
You will be reporting directly to Nordic Segment Sales Manager. You will also work in close cooperation with other functions such as Sales and Service and the product management of the safety portfolio.
In addition to the development and implementation of the marketing mix strategies, you will be assessing new market opportunities, drive business profitability, and develop our Tender Excellence work in the Nordics.
You have a university degree, preferable within marketing or business administration, and are an experienced marketeer from the hospital segment on a Nordic / Scandinavian level.
You work independently with minimal supervision, have a good knowledge of finance and budgets and an established track- record in the field of strategic marketing and/or sales within medical technology. You have excellent communication skills and able to handle complex and difficult situations with thought and confidence and you demonstrate passion, drive, and target orientation. You are a native speaker of one of the Scandinavian languages, and can easily present and negotiate in English as well.
Since this is a leadership role, extensive people management and leadership experience, as well as a proven track record on change management is required. It is important that you have excellent organization skills and ability to make and enable decisions to deliver results with a pragmatic, positive and risk-balanced attitude. This you do by open and constructive communication, a hands-on attitude and being a good team player.
