We have an opening for a talented Distribution Sales Manager to join us in Denmark. You will drive our distribution business in the Danish market, working with existing and new partners. You will be the local point of contact to our external partners (operators, hardware manufacturers and others) and contribute to our future growth in both B2B and D2C sales channels. The ability to build strong relationships, work within a small team and passion for the HBO Nordic brand/product are important and necessary skills for this position.

Main responsibilities

  • Establishing strong relationships with partners and serving as a primary point of contact.
  • Proactively advocating for and driving improvements for our partners while building great relationships with internal teams and stakeholders to accomplish HBO Nordic and partner goals.
  • Identifying potential for new partnerships.
  • Providing local market updates or research for new opportunities and challenges.
  • Identifying and driving sales campaigns.
  • Understanding our partners’ sales funnels and customer service flows.

You will report to the Head of Distribution HBO Nordic and will work closely with multiple departments throughout HBO Europe.


To be successful in this role, we believe you will have;

  • 5 + years of relevant experience focused on media partnerships and partner sales, preferably from a leading entertainment company. Experience in OTT or subscription businesses a plus!
  • A solid track record in sales and marketing, with a strong focus on partner sales.
  • Knowledge of TV/VOD/SVOD market and trends in Denmark.
  • A strong interest in television and film, as well as innovative marketing and partnership trends.
  • Full proficiency in written and spoken English & Danish.
