Channel Account Manager

This role will develop and close more complex new business within assigned territory

JOB SCOPE

  • Channel sales rep responsible for driving new complex business in conjunction with key partners in assigned commercial territories
  • Develop territory sales plan, including new business sales forecast and opportunity coverage (partner, direct, vs inside touch)
  • Work with partner sales resources as a virtual sales team to drive partner-led new opportunity selling (partner opportunity registration)
  • Work with Inside Sales to uncover leads, complete quotes, order management, and oversee quotes for smaller deals under threshold
  • As needed, work with partner sales resources on larger commercial deals and demand generation opportunities over threshold
  • As needed, work with TSS to assess and deliver technical solution
  • As needed, work with Renewal team to close renewals

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Channel Account Manager is responsible for driving new complex business in conjunction with named list of key partners
  • Develop territory sales plan, including new business sales forecast and opportunity coverage (partner, direct, vs inside touch)
  • Work with partner sales resources as a virtual sales team to drive partner-led new opportunity selling (partner opportunity registration)
  • Work with Inside Sales to uncover leads, complete quotes, order management, and oversee quotes for smaller deals under threshold
  • As needed, work with partner sales resources on larger commercial deals and demand generation opportunities over threshold
  • As needed, work with TSS to assess and deliver technical solution
  • As needed, work with Renewal team to close renewals
  • Focus on driving the sustainable growth of the territory and achievement of personal, team and company objectives and performance metrics
  • Build coverage plan for assigned Territory, team and Partner to drive achievement of business goals aligned to the overall strategy, across all business channels.
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand consumer business activities.
  • Virtual co-ordination of Territory Team (Hunter, iTAR, iTSS & iPAM)
  • Accurately maintain opportunities in SFDC pipeline to drive reliable and realistic forecasting

REQUIRED SKILL/EXPERIENCE

  • Proven background and experience in the IT Software industry.
  • A strategic sales individual, able to quickly identify business needs and deliver results.
  • Proven sales experience in developing, managing and acquiring new key partners.
  • Virtual sales team leadership and management experience, across multiple sales channels.
  • Track record in developing C level relationships with key business partners.
  • Delivers accurate and reliable forecasts
