The role
The Portfolio Manager is overall responsible for management of programmes under his/her geographic area and has budget responsibility for awards up to 10m SEK. He/she acts as process driver as well as country team lead and manages relations and support to SCI country offices, in close collaboration with the Area Director. He she designs and reviews proposals and reports and coordinates technical expertise within SCS, SCI, SC members and other actors.

Who are you?

In order to be successful in this role you’ll bring

• Academic degree/diploma or equivalent experience in relevant field
• Several year’s of experience from programme management in the international development and/or humanitarian sector, including coordination of proposal and reporting processes, budgeting and financial monitoring
• International experience of development and/or humanitarian field work
• Understanding of rights-based and result-oriented development/humanitarian work.
• Understanding of civil society and its role in bringing about change and development
• Excellent writing and communication skills in Swedish and English. Additional languages are considered an asset.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Agresso
