Scania Credit Group (SCA), a Scania Financial Services (SFS) business unit (BU), serving customers, dealers and distributors in more than 20 different markets through local leasing companies or cross border financing. The Head Office/Market Support centre is based in Södertälje, supporting the local markets with governance, management, administration and systems. In the markets where we operate, Scania Credit Group is financing more than two thirds of Scania’s sales. As our current Project Manager is moving on to a new challenge within Scania, we are now recruiting a successor.

As a Project Manager you will be a part of the Process Department and will be reporting to Process Manager. The Process Team in Södertälje consists of 6 employees and is responsible for IT, Support & Maintenance, project management and The Scania Way / SRS work for the group. The team works with continuous development of processes and systems in close cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders.

The position is based at Scania Credit AB’s main office in Södertälje.

Job Description

Your main responsibility will be to run and coordinate various projects and assignments within Scania Credit Group. You will also be an active member of our Support & Maintenance Organization. This position will contribute to that SCA’s projects are run in an efficient manner. In more details that includes:

  • Run projects according to the PPS model
  • Manage resources in the Project for different tasks
  • Project Documentation and planning (both long-term and detailed planning, internally and externally.)
  • Take an active part within various projects and perform activities to ensure that the projects deliver according to plan

As part of our Project Organization you will work closely with all departments in Södertälje and also with our local companies abroad. You will contribute to developing a strong back office of SCA.

Your profile

To be successful in this position you are a self-going and highly motivated team player, with the ability to make things happen and drive initiatives independently. You are a well-organized administrator and enjoy working in an international environment with people of various background and nationality. Your “can-do” attitude and professional approach will be important in this role which offers you great opportunities to gain a broad knowledge and experience from a Scania Financial Services BU. If you have worked with complex projects in an international context, that is an advantage. You have excellent communication skills in English (Swedish is also very welcome).

Your skills and formal qualifications should preferably include:

  • Relevant university degree or similar knowledge acquired from work experience
  • Three or more years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of financing
  • Experience of Project Management, especially in context of PPS (Praktisk Projekt Styrning methodology)
  • Project Portfolio Management
  • Knowledge of View 21 would be a great advantage

It would be beneficial if you have experience from a Financial Services company.
