We at Nordex Sweden are looking for a new colleague to join our team in the role of an Account Manager. There are just under 50 of us who work at Nordex Sweden in various roles in Sales, Service, HSE, Administration etc. This role we have planned to be based in our Uppsala office, where around 25 of us sit at the moment.

As an Account manager you would be mainly responsible for generation of After Sales Business with our existing clients in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. What we see important is that you would have an proactive approach to sales opportunities on existing and also lost accounts. You would keep yourself up to date on the contractual conditions of our service agreements and support with difficult commercial customer requests and issues.

In this role you would work closely with our Service back-office team, sales team and also the service field teams that work with our clients on the field. The role demands frequent traveling to customer meetings etc. around the Nordic area and within Europe.

Key accountabilities

  • Key contact person of clients for commercial and contractual issues for a defined customer portfolio
  • Provide consultation to the clients on the scope of services offered by the company
  • Responsible for After Sales activities (e.g. proactive approach for Repair/Modification offers and maintenance offers, including following-up offers, negotiating and closing the offer)
  • Responsible for After Sales order intake and revenues of the service area
  • Negotiate renewals of service agreements of existing wind farms
  • Organize frequent and special customer meetings
  • Build up, develop and maintain long-term client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage client complaints to prevent potential contractual problems
  • Calculate and negotiate potential Bonus/Liquidated Damages and variable fees
  • Manage potential minor warranty and end of contracts claims of customer and support Customer Manager regarding any major customer claim (e.g. warranty, end of contracts, etc.)
  • Reactivate lost accounts
  • Responsible and dealing with overdue payments
  • Cooperation and manage interface to other operative functions
  • Support Local Operations Manager (LOM)/Area Service Manager (ASM) with operational customer complaints
  • Knowledge Transfer of Maintenance Service Agreement-contractual scope to the operational function (LOM, ASM, etc.)
  • Manage CRM Database
  • Monthly reporting to customers
  • Support main component planer regarding main component demand non-contractual customers
  • Support the Customer Manager regarding the After Sales Reporting

Job requirements

Career / Job experience

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a technical sales position
  • Knowledge in the renewable energy sector
  • Experienced in dealing with internal and external customers
  • Experienced in the tender process

Education and qualification

  • Minimum Bachelor degree (e.g. Business administration or technical degree) or equivalent job experience
  • Excellent English language skills both written and spoken, and any additional language skills will be considered as an advantage
  • Computer literate, able to use MS Office, SAP and in house database and workload management systems
  • Technical competence
